Something that ran through my head as I saw descriptions for Steam Next Fest games: if the project uses gen AI, it’s an instant skip

Yes, even if it’s “just” for store assets

However it’s intended, it LOOKS like an active gap in your craft, and there’s infinite other games to spend my time on

Goodnight everyone, and if you accidentally got an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattoo years ago and keep forgetting to get it covered up, maybe do that tomorrow and don’t spend any more extra years with an extremely recognizable Nazi symbol tattooed on your body

New character for you :)
In the Resident Evil universe rich people make elaborate puzzles based on their special interest or hobby.
So surely there must be some rich tech guy in their world who has a door puzzle that involves FunkoPops somewhere in there.

2025: Mainstream transphobia ends a harm reduction policy that worked.
Met Police says it will no longer investigate non-crime hate incidents
The move comes as an investigation into Father Ted creator Graham Linehan is dropped, after his arrest over a post on X.

If you do not state what the 'purity tests' are then I can only guess it's something so reprehensible you know you can't state it out loud without everyone realising how despicable you are.
Folks demanding political / ideological purity fail to see that this is no longer a movement belonging to the left / liberals. This is an opposition against fascism. By definition it must be big tent. Failure to grasp this: see divided oppositions in Eastern Europe as your failed examples.
I have currently had to send 3 messages to 3 different places at Tesco just to get them to confirm they won't auto-renew our policy. And I've still not had the confirmation yet.
Really will be glad to see the back of them. If you are looking for pet insurance avoid Tesco like the plague. Awful
Last year Tesco pet insurance messed up payments and was a hassle to fix. This year they are over doubling how much they charge.
We have barely needed them to cover anything this year, so fuck it I'm changing provider. Absolutely despicable behaviour

Meeting yesterday with Brianna Ghey's mother Esther - and pupils at Brianna's former school - was a powerful reminder of why controls on social media and smartphone use in schools is so important for children, teachers and parents. (1/2)

Here's the thing: I don't need my potential unlocked. I work just as hard as my parents did, earn the same wage adjusted for inflation, and they were able to buy a house, two cars and go on holiday abroad every year. I don't need to work harder or smarter, I need to keep more of what I earn.
Is the Prime minister subtweeting me?

Tax wealth. Not work.

This would be the UK's version of Birth of a Nation
What is this shite? Celebrating the roll back of rights against a marginalised community?

Who's funding this gravy train? Who will be the actors! And lastly, I think it's all a bit premature.

"AI means we won't have to work as hard!"
...
"Turns out we need to work harder and longer to fix the many problems with AI. Still going to use it though!"
The grind culture that birthed many Big Tech companies from Google to Amazon is back.

As the AI race heats up, startups are promoting hardcore cultures like “996,” or working 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week.
Why these companies insist on a 72-hour work week
Start-ups are promoting hardcore cultures such as “996,” meaning working from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. six days a week, as they race to compete in AI.

90 FUCKING PERCENT

i’d love for cis folks to remember what the nyt, atlantic, guardian, daily mail, times of london, ny post, cnn, wall street journal, & economist took from your transgender neighbors & loved ones before the next time you consider giving them money or listening to a word they say.
It’s almost like when you don’t have a rabidly trans-hostile media ecosystem, people generally support human rights.
