Talking of content - I should really do some here.

It's ridiculous, I worked in social media for over 10 years and ran some really successful social media campaigns. Why do I find doing it for my own business so cringe-worthy?

I feel bad complaining about it as they are fundraising for a charity in memory of a girl who was killed crossing the road over the summer. But still. Someone really should have considered that a good portion of the kids will have nothing pink.

It's an adult size so it will drown him but that's the whole style at the moment, isn't it?

I thought by the time The Boy was in Secondary school the non uniform but a particular colour thing would be over.

My son barely has any clothes that fit him because he's growing so fast, let alone anything *pink*.

Looking at who is still on the Hollyoaks cast from when I lived in Liverpool I'm guessing their PR team gets steadily more anxious every time a new section of the entertainment business gets a creepy men being creeps moment in the press.

I hate this too, not only that but I equally hate the food donation box at the other end of the checkout - meaning you buy from the big supermarket and they get to donate the food to a food bank. GTF. If people lift food and just drop it in there, I'm not telling.

I hate the "rounding up for charity" campaigns because I think it's the capitalists who own the supermarkets who should contribute, yet sometimes I want to support a good cause. So I round up at the self-checkout and steal an item of equivalent value.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I remember the anger at the injustice of it all so well. Are you able to go to the funeral? If so I hope it's a good celebration of his life and can give you a moment to remember him fondly.

I hadn't realised they were tearing down the whole of the East Wing of the White House. It highlights two things we already know.
