Every time I read anything about Quakers I do wish I believed in God because their view of Christianity values is 100% what I'd sign up to.

I've just read something about them refusing to ban trans women from female toilets.

I love 99.9% of my job. 0.1% of my job is handling fabric that's been washed in waaaay too much washing powder and getting an almighty migraine from it.

Wish me luck. I'm going back in again.
If your capacity for complete BS is low:

😡 Do not buy from eBay as sellers seem to have no choice but to send by Evri.

😡 Never, ever use Ballyhackamore Post Office. I have never experienced quite so much incompetence and quite so few fucks given about losing a parcel.

Falling over my own feet and nearly pulling a table over while teaching a class achievement unlocked.

Good job I'm off to physio tomorrow.

I had a dream that a much beloved public figure passed away. I won't mention his name in case I accidentally start the worst rumour ever.

Such a weird dream. Claire Balding gave me not quite defrosted frozen mash potatoes and sweet white wine because I couldn't stop crying on TV.

The Boy has expressed an interest in learning about the Roman Empire. I mistakenly mentioned this to The Grandmother.

Help! Anyone got recommendations for non-fiction Roman books and/or building sets for a 13 year old?

The onslaught of big business capitalism is getting me down, so thought I'd do a very short thread of things I recommend that are on sale today.

I have so much to do today. The house is a state, I have a reality busy week to prep for, a promised trip to W5 to squeeze in.

And what am I doing? Scrolling Bluesky.

Could someone kick me up the arse?

Just had a horrible run in with a horrendously aggressive man. It triggered a panic attack and an hour later I still feel shaken.

But I don't want to think about him any more than I need to. I'm focusing on the really lovely people I've met since then.

I hope when they read the budget out today there’s something in there which involves the numbers 6 and 7, and Starmer just involuntarily starts doing the hands again.

Good morning, while everyone is waiting for the budget to be announced it’s a good time to say that immigration is a source of prosperity for the UK and painting Britain as a hostile state is sabotaging the country. Thanks!

I've just come across someone who uses an email address with Brexit in it.

This is an email address they use for semi professional work.

Is it bad that I automatically think negatively of them?

Well that sucked.

AI on Google search is shit and a ridiculous waste of the world's resources.

However I have found one use.

Bypassing clickbait headlines.

What's that you say? Farage was a racist little prick at school? I am shocked to the very core of my being.

The hubris is strong with Musk but he's not a complete idiot.

They will have known that a large number of MAGA accounts will be Russian fakes.

A little stunt to piss off Trump and/or remind him he is owned by Musk?
