NEW: Just sent this letter to Trump’s @CommerceGov Secretary demanding an immediate stop to staffing cuts, funding freezes, and program terminations at @NOAA. Hurricane season starts on June 1. There’s no time to waste!
Please call your reps. This is way beyond any debate about action on climate - rather, this would blind our nation so that we don't even know or understand what is happening in our atmosphere and oceans.
