Longest running joke in the old country was the annual declaration of wealth in parliament when the Interior Minister listed amongst his earthly possessions an 1987 Warthburg car along with half of a two-bed flat
Long before I ever got to the USA this was the absolute weirdest thing about it for me, especially coming from a country where people will literally pretend to be poor to win elections
Obviously Kamala Harris will be breaking alot of barriers if she becomes President but I also think this is pretty cool considering the parade of Ivy League dipshits that have gotten close to the White House
