In fun, and not at all embarrassing news, I was doing some maintenance on the treadmill I have at home, and the last part involved just letting it run for 5 minutes.
Somehow, I forgot it was on, went to walk over it, put my foot down on the belt and went flying arse over tit 😭

Scrapped my run this morning a minute in after the pins put in a decade ago to hold my femur together were being too talkative. Instead I had a lovely walk in spring-like weather and will be doing some more focused stretching.

Did my first run for about 14 years. Out for a whole hour of run-walk-run and then a shopping trip at the end too.
Time to start putting my body a bit more up the priority list. Although not looking forward to not being able to walk in 2 days time if past experience is anything to go off!

Yeah, but the uyoku sound trucks were genuinely intimidating. This guy...not so much. All you'd have to do is walk past him looking a bit tired and he'd run away.
When I lived in Japan, far-right parties used to drive around blaring out propaganda from loudspeaker vans. People saw them as public nuisances at best, dangerous nutters at worst. Interesting to see Matt Goodwin adopt the same strategy.
