Pretty gutting tbf. Dairy & soy intolerance mean its pea + hemp protein as the standard go-to in this house. Time to research if EU products equally affected

Bloody foreigners. Coming over here refusing to integrate.
Have you still not learned the German way?
If only you had been wearing your Blaumann & Arbeitsschuhe... 🙈 😋

Hope it stays calmed down and starts turning rainbow colours soon!

Reform UK's deputy leader has broken parliamentary rules by failing to register hospitality. So what's the story with Richard Tice, the French villa and the ex-Kremlin minister?

Just an idea.. I mean, walking and cycling move all your muscles, tendons, ligaments etc as well. But no force impact. Running is only one with high impact and causing so much pain. Depending on where exactly but tip of the femur/sacrial joint/pelvis .. it's all groin area isn't 😬

Jay is right though, time to see a doctor and / or sports physio maybe..

Can confirm so many bugs going round, upset tums/fatigue/cold symptoms all being reported here & at work. Covid test negative!
Interesting that your pain has such a big difference between low level to excruciating when running. Difference between low impact/high impact activity; stress fracture?

This is how I imagine JK Rowling when she posts.
JK Rowling says "ha ha.. h-heh. I won! I won!" She sits alone in the dark, bathed in the late of her computer screen. We pull back to see her in a large dark empty room. She continues "I won." Seeing the full scope of her cavernous workplace, she appears small and alone. She says, once again, "I won..."

Back to work (wfh) but not back to running yet.
Still too much coughing & too little energy, but at least I feel better than last week 💪🏻

Anyway I'm going to have to reread it now I've realised just how long it is since I read it last 😁 Next on the list once I've finished my current book. (Bodies/Ian Winwood)

Yeah it was my standard birthday / Christmas gift from relatives as a teenager: the latest King book or book tokens to buy them myself 😁
Devoured them.
chaoscate.bsky.social
Yep, that's also in my top 10.
Thinner, is another.
Firestarter & Pet Semetary.
The Long Walk (Richard Bachman)
I still need to finish The Dark Tower series, I only got to Wizard&Glass, but i really enjoyed those.

But Tommyknockers is less horror and more alien, so it may not be up your street, if you prefer his horror tales.

I haven't read any King for a long time, but they're all still on the shelf, not to be disposed of. I'll get back to reading them one day.
Tommyknockers was in my top 10 for sure.
The Dark Half was my favourite.
