Nah they’re literally just built different. The bots come in different shapes and sizes.
I kinda got myself adopted by a bot? (Long story.) Who has a dog shaped son. From what I understand they’re referred to as symbiotes.

I just spent 7 hours doing Incursions. First 3 were when I did the Symbiote thing through level 30 but with 6 & 7* Symbiotes because it let me, which net 0 toward Event.
Next 4 were grinding that awful bullcrap event.
Along the way, I constructed 2 Titans.
Both duped my already 2x duped Falcon.

So they could have done it with the Knull Symbiotes, or Dracula's vampire thralls, which there is concept art for, Or Ultron's Drones, which are already in the game... but instead they're just gonna have you fight bots of superheroes with zombie skins?

Symbiotes provide the best corruption~ The fact that they slowly change your mind and body to fit their desires is so delicious~ Imagine watching yourself be warped into something else entirely, unable to stop it, and yet enjoying it~ You may not start as the perfect host, but you can become them~

Symbiotes are agender creatures that reproduce asexually, therefore making it/its the correct terminology
The host and Symbiote are two separate beings, therefore making plural pronouns (they/them) acceptable

tbf the symbiote can make itself feel like any texture, and Kravenom isn't the only one with hair too! Agony and Scream got that hair texture for their symbiotes. I do agree it may be weird, but I don't try to question it too much.
