I'm in the process of rearranging and expanding my sets as well - currently organizing 48 pans in 2 boxes (yellows, reds and blues + greens, Earths and greys) + keeping 24 supergranulation in a separate box. Can't wait for the new pa ns I've ordered to arrive! Especially the volcano orange 👀❤️

Purple, one of the brilliant ones that isn't easily mixed. Or if you want a granulating ready-made building or asphalt color for architecture or city scenes that you can also easily mix into other colors ONE of the Schmincke Supergranulation ones: desert brown, haze pink, haze brown or desert grey.

So how long does it take to detect and characterise the supergranulation signal? Using the Fisher information content we show that in 23 nights we can characterise the supergranulation timescale in 10 stars, if we switch randomly between stars every 5 minutes!
