Confirming our support for Trans people after the supreme court judgement: Equality Act 2010 has not in fact changed and Trans people are protected under gender reassignment. I know this is what I have always been protected under, not sex as a woman. #stuclgbt25

Amended motion 18: Learning disability affects life expectancy in terms of neurodivergency with stats showing higher risk of suicide. STUC is urged to produce guidance to support Neurodivergent people and their important contributions to the work place.

Motion 6 a Trans and Non-Binary rights: Supreme Court ruling leads to dehumanisation of a group of people and we should not expect our trade union to accept such a ruling. We condemn any legal decisions regarding this. STUC needs to strengthen their strategy around this issue. #Stuclgbt25

Challenging far right misinformation, TIE created a brilliant tool for online hate STUC can reference this moving forward. At the moment resource provides teachers and educators to counter the effects of online hate and core digital media and literacy skills and learners need these tools #stuclgbt25
