A cat murderer in service of yet another sportswashing sponsor.

I cheered for the climb itself. It didn't do anything I morally object to.

lol i have tshirts from sports sponsorships by bank of america (full disclosure: my former employer) that are ratty and older than the entire portland timbers organisation and ALL of the timbers team. if they're protesting sportswashing, you gotta go back a little more than a this-millennia outfit.

Our Lamentors showed up at a cold and rainy Oracle Park in San Francisco to protest fossil fuel companies' sportswashing - burnishing their rep by sponsoring beloved sports teams like the @sfgiants.com

The individual athletes are not guilty. But I won't be complicit in the Olympics as a form of sportswashing. #Wordle 1,705 5/6

Thiiiiiiissss.
Watching in a bar, I could not hear about the racist slur.
The absolute worst part of football, even worse than the sportswashing.
CW men's football but whatever is going on with Vini and Real Madrid/Benfica is like the full Vini Jr experience

scores an incredible goal
makes love to the corner flag
Benfica fans and players want to murder him
Vini hears a racial slur and walks off the pitch
complete chaos for the last 10 mins

The footballers themselves don't matter, they're playing for and representing Israel, that's all that matters, no Irish team should be legitimising Israel through sportswashing.
The Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence said he doesn't blame the Israeli footballers for the actions of their government in Gaza, and believes Ireland should fulfil its assigned Nations League fixture against Israel jrnl.ie/6959732

OK, yeah he's quickly rising to #1 cycling @asshole, but I'm not sure if that karma should be given to other teammates.

To me, the whole team deserves to end soon, but that's mainly because of their sportswashing sponsor and doping past tainted staff.

Surprise Saudi Arabia hasn’t tried to host the Winter Olympics. Make like a gigantic drome with artificial snow, and slops. Chuck in a mountain or two. ❄️ ⛰️ #Sportswashing

No sportswashing sponsorship.
keep yellow-black jersey, please🐝

Well, I hope they find one, but more importantly I hope it's not a sportswashing sponsor. (As much as a big company can be not sportswashing in today's world. But I'll take capitalism over oppressive governments or fossil fuel giants).

“If this is not slavery, what is?”

Anyone supporting Saudi Arabia, or being fooled by their “sportswashing” or investment funding or comedy festivals needs to wake the fuck up.

They are horrific & disgusting.

didn’t realize this has made its way into mainstream leftist conversations. saudis have gotten flack for sportswashing (using entertainment to make them seem more palatable) but it’s past time we also address israel getting in on that game too.

Middle eastern Arab nations, high on oil revenues, sportswashing their regimes.
But hey, who cares about human rights abuses when you can watch top players in air conditioned comfort?!

. . .publicly supporting Vince after the accusations came out (some fans of that company are still defending his actions and hoping for his return), associating with Saudia Arabia and sportswashing for its regime, and associating with and supporting the Trump regime.

I need to see one of these people confronted directly with the fact that the thing they're sportswashing is sending Sudanese child soldiers to invade Yemen this is straight up what has to happen for anything to change

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
