#souvereignty
The only viable alternative to reduce costs on airspace souvereignty would be some sort of task-sharing, similar to what BENELUX countries do under NATO scope. However, for Austria touting its neutral status, this would quickly run into certain issues. ac.nato.int/missions/air...

Heroyam Slava!!

excellently put.
Souvereignty is NOT FOR SALE.
Ukraine will NOT BE BLACKMAILED.
Russia is a terrorist state and needs to be stopped. Defeat and demilitarise it. Hilarious demands, as usual, by Russian agressors, try to deflect from their every day warcrimes.

We should have learned by now that both of them has always served their self interest with no regards to other countries souvereignty nor peace if it doesn't suit their objective.
Different disguise, different rheorics, but in the very end - the same.
We must not bow to either. 🇪🇺

I think I should count the ways people mispronounce "digital souvereignty".

He's more ore less openly adressing the European Far Right, who want to bring down the EU. They all want their own "Brexit", their "national souvereignty back" and push some form of "[Our Country] First" and "Make [Our Country] Great Again", which bringing down the EU is a prerequisite to.

The flipside is that 'Nato is threatening our souvereignty' can no longer be an excuse for Putin.

where are the brexiters? what happened to british souvereignty?

Yes, constitutions often talk about souvereignty and defense.

It's not like Trump who bombs whatever country he likes or Putin invading neighbors - for this You have to make up an "operation".
Constitutions don't know anything about "operations".

First and foremost: Legitimacy of a countries leadership is a domestic issue.

US action is in violation of in breach of state souvereignty and thus a violation of international law and the rule-based order of peoples, which is already hurting.
I have spoken with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and our Ambassador in Caracas. The EU is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela.

The EU has repeatedly stated that Mr Maduro lacks legitimacy and has defended a peaceful transition. (1/2)

Are you going to protect our souvereignty? First French citizen is put on a sanction list for upholdinh international law as a judge of ICJ. Now our regulators are put on travel ban. What's next? EU is ruled by law that expresses the will of european people, we are not US colony.
The State department continues to use false allegations of "censorship" to censor people, or in this case sanction them

I think this is part of the plan, Putin wants international laws devaluating. They respect peace, souvereignty, autonomy of nations. And that doesn't go well with the wish to invade and attack and kill your neighbours and take their country. And natural resources... So Trump has been learning.

What kind of idiot must one be to denounce the souvereignty of Ukraine, even regard it as part of another country?

The question arises if this idiot aka viktor orban considers Hungary an independent souvereign country, or being part of russia!

Orban's insanity becomes annoying!

The wrong path ... I fear the worst for Ukrains souvereignty.

Interfering in national judicial affairs..... is like deciding on/about guilt or innocence of a criminal as a foreigner!
Justice must be done, and disregarding the souvereignty of a nation's justice system is... brutal, unprecented, wrong!

I think Zelensky may, on terms favorable for Ukrains future (NATO-Membership, full souvereignty, but no reperations). Putin cannot. Russias collapse is imminent. Putin can only delay Russias disintegration by keeping the country in a state of war. This is exactly where the danger lies for Europe.

Just the announcement of this deal alone will have an effect on ruzzian morale, even if the deliveries take more time. We will support Ukraine’s independence, souvereignty and borders, whatever it takes. Get out, ruzzia!

We need to deal with the mob. Now coalition of the willing and heroic Ukraine are hope. Russia needs
clear defeat,
not one inch of profit from this attack
demilitarisation.
No trust. Strong security needed. Check Budapest Memorandum=>

Sorry, but what do guarantees of either really mean? Especially when economics are more important, and peace and safety of People come last? Guarantees by powers mean nothing! Besides, both have violated the souvereignty of so many in the past, that any guarantee by them is worthless!

I mean... one of the most important and symbolic means to ensure Danish souvereignty in Greenland is the Sirius Dog Sled Patrol, so I bet they would fit right into the Danish defense strategy for Greenland. Those patrol soldiers have some serious equipment by the way.

so: it is a deal, already made. But Russia is not into respect souvereignty, territorial integrity, and keeping promisses. Sure, this ongoing attack, by so many called a conflict, a war, is just Russia AGAIN attacking its neighbours. It needs defeat and demilitarisation in the interest of peace.

Show us what you (not Biden) did to stop Russia subjugating it’s smaller neighbour? What you suggest is capitulation. That can’t be the desired outcome as your country promised to protect Ukraine’s souvereignty in 1994 isn’t it.
