[ #OCsky #OCPrompts ] Here's a sample of a few notable siblings I've drawn together, kinda--

▪ Shuili and Huojin (half-siblings, sister and brother)
▪ Rachel and Chester (sister and brother)
▪ Kharune and Khimore (twins, brother and sister)
▪ Sekhmet, Mafdet, Hathor, Serqet, and Bastet (5 sisters)

Shuili is a half illuminated beast with the traits of a fox spirit, while Huojin is a full illuminated beast with fox-spirit and huodou traits.

So uh... my friends nudged me to design HK characters and I used the excuse to punt my existing characters into the world -- kinda. Anyway here's two versions of my OCs as buggies

A full-color, fullbody lineup of my original characters as they would appear in the world of Hollow Knight / Silksong -- including both personal characters and a few cameos from DEITIES Project.

There are 16 OCs displayed in this artwork, each of them loosely based on the design style of HK characters, as well as different types of bugs (insects and arachnids). This first version of the lineup has them with their wings unfurled, where applicable.

In order from left to right, the characters on the first row are:
Valor (Praying Mantis); Sterling (Skipper Butterfly); Kudzu (Walking Leaf); Ricki (Grasshopper); Roscuro/Rosco (Vampire Moth); Reese (Earwig); Sytri (Damselfly); and Dantalion/Dante (Honey Bee).

On the second row, the characters are:
Phizzuroh/Zuro (Nairobi Fly); Moxie (Fire Ant); Pitch (Housefly); Bridgett (Caddisfly); Avalon (Orchid Mantis); Morgue (Black Witch Moth); Serqet (Scorpion); and Set (Spider Wasp).

Another full-color, fullbody lineup of my original characters as they would appear in the world of Hollow Knight / Silksong.

This is similar to the first version except the same characters are now wearing cloaks, clothing, or other accessories, and their wings are hidden.

[1/2] During my holiday trip I asked Jinkz and Anie to give me OC interactions to sketch in pencil during my downtime. While I'd like to refine and finish some digitally, I polished what I could cuz I like how many of them turned out \o/!!

PART 1/4 of various pencil sketches, featuring interactions between my and my friends' original characters.

1 -- Serqet, Shazi and Lindita -- affectionally called the "Poison Sisters" due to their respective domains. They are exchanging gossip while scrying together.

2 -- Indra, Sobek, and Jorah palling around. They're known as the "Water Bros." for their aquatic animal forms (Leviathan, Crocodile, and Goose).

3 -- Montu and Kairu leaning on their respective weapons and exchanging a vertical fist bump, while waiting for their next opponent to try their luck.

4 -- Set vs. Aris; a "God of Chaos" sparring with a "God of Destruction" where both are having a great time.

PART 2/4 of various pencil sketches, featuring interactions between my and my friends' original characters.

1 -- Shuili and Baiyun meditating together. Setting is loosely based on those coral-like areas in Watatsumi Island (Genshin Impact).

2 (down) -- A very literal Agent Starling (Tanja) and Agent Crow, in bird forms.

3 -- Zephyr and Stella, with Zephyr using his four angel wings to shield them from some uninvited onlookers...

4 -- ...said onlookers being a notorious trio who are amused by this budding relationship -- Lindita, Mikael, and Sytri.

A while ago I completed this color lineup of the major DEITIES cast, plus some profiles that I'll gradually share this week. But if you want to jump ahead, they can all be found on the project website: deitiesofduat.com

There are 20 gods displayed in this artwork, each wielding their divine weapons, but without wearing their headdress (for the sake of displaying their heights more accurately).

In order from left to right, the characters on the first row are Set, Horus, Anubis, Osiris, Isis, Nephthys, Bastet, Sekhmet, Thoth, and Ra.

On the second row, the characters are Mafdet, Hathor, Serqet, Sobek, Wepwawet, Montu, Shezmu, Pakhet, Anuket, and Yamm.

Here was mostly me testing a shading thing with ambient occlusion. I'm sure I did it a little wrong, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

[19] Somewhere in between tho, Horus develops a thing with Serqet (Goddess of Medicine & Poisons). She antagonizes him as a young prince, but they eventually warm up to each other.

Aside from tolerating her suggestive teasing, Horus and Serqet become good allies, as well as "friends with benefits."

Can a case be made to tie certain federal payments (including income tax refunds, SNAP, and social security) to voting? If you didn't vote you don't get it... period.

I mean, creditors can garnish federal payments. What's the difference.
