Salmonberry soda seems like it should be popular too. Or that berry you have that tastes like watermelon…

These are the two sons that Phantasm and Salmonberry had! Aren't they cute?!

They're both up for adoption/sale, if you want either boy - or both - let me know!

So, I breed Ancient Breeds on Flight Rising and my nests are hatching today! I have three Sandsurge pairings and two Auraboa pairings that have eggs ready!

The first pairing are the two below:
Father (Phantasm) and Mother (Salmonberry)

Habrosyne scripta (lettered habrosyne) is a member of Drepanidae’s subfamily Thyatirinae that is also noted feeding on coastal salmonberry in similar habitat. It’s more widespread through the PNW.

Cerastis enigmatica (enigmatic dart moth) flies as early as late February. On the coast they’re known to feed on Rubus spectabilis (salmonberry), and it’s presumed that they feed on other Rubus species. They are common through the Cascades and into oak woodland, rare in high forest and oak savannah.

It's going to be a drastic change, with the past warmth, the fauna thinks spring is here.

I appreciate Lowrider, but my favorite cookies in this city are still from Salmonberry Goods: the peanut-butter-malt cookie, and the onion cookie.

My daughter and I spent today on the Salmonberry Trail as part of their #optoutside event. An 82-mile trail that goes through District 4 in Washington County, this project is driven by passionate volunteers for a great cause! salmonberrytrail.org

Your 1, 4, 5 should be 5, 4, 1 (🥇🥈🥉).

2 points to clarify:

1) Have you tried Cosmic Crisp*? (Newest apple of my apple state, Washington.)

2) Have you tried salmonberry**? (Similar to my Scandinavian people's cloudberry.)

*That would be my berry pie of choice.

**...and my apple pie of choice. 🤌

This route to Astoria would be amazing, notably packed on a hot summer weekend. It would be even more dope if it looped south down to seaside and then East through the salmonberry corridor, a gal can dream ✨

Not sure but the concept of such a food is so cursed. That and salmonberry and tuna milkshakes at the Swine & Bovine. The salmonberry isn’t even inherently horrible since at least that’s an actual berry, it’s just odd and uncommon for a milkshake. But TUNA??? Sweet and salty tuna milkshake…

I always loved finding hummingbird nests as a kid.

My sis and I would leave some wild flowers near the nest when we were kids so the parent birds would have something. There were a lot of blackberry bushes as well as salmonberry bushes so it wasn’t too hard to source what they’d sip
Earlier today, I was notified that someone was at my door.

This is who it was:

She's just trying to level up foraging before salmonberry season to double her harvest. Thankfully the queer woman vibes help her chop down trees lmao
