I have come across an incredibly niche issue

I'm trying to take a reference photo using a sword out of PVC, foam, and electric tape that I made a while back
The electric tape is black
My shirt I am wearing is also black

You cannot see the sword in the picture

I now have to change my shirt

Here's Marvia. I created her for MrMoose's Tidal challenge: a giant stage magician who loves vanishing acts.

I also wrote a Moonrise fanfic about her, "The Marvelous Marvia": archiveofourown.org/works/71660326

A reference sheet for a character called Marvia. She's a Tidal, a kind of gigantic femme creature from MrMoose's "Moonrise" comic. She's a brunette short woman (she looks a bit in her mid twenties) with olive skin and yellow eyes. Her hair is tied in a bun and she's dressing like a bizarre take on a stage magician with a black top hat, vest and stirrup pants, a white short sleeved shirt and mid arm gloves, and a red tie. She's barefoot and posing with a baton pushing her hat upwards while her left hand is open towards the viewer. Marvia's grin shows pointy fangs.

The reference sheet shows Marvia's colors, front, side and back views of her head and torso and some details like her open mouth (full of fangs, with no uvula as Tidals have sealed off esophagus), her yellow eye and her foot's sole.

Some text gives context about who she is:

"A jolly Tidal stage magician who loves disappearing acts. She is a bit forgetful and might find some missing 'volunteers' in her clothes and body... if they've survived."

"It has been reported that several cities, countries and even entire civilizations and plantes have vanished. The only connection between these events is... a giant magician?!"

Top hat: She won't pull any (giant) doves or rabbits from it... only (small) people.

Hair: Marvia's scalp is a peaceful place... until she washes her hair. And she does it a lot.

Mouth: Tidals cannot swallow, but watch out! Those teeth are sharp...

Armpit: This isn't the Hottest Sauna in the Universe, but it's close enough...

Gloves: She rarely takes these off, how did you even get in there?!

Pants (front): No pockets? No problem! You won't go too far, though.

Pants (rear): If you wanted cake, Marvia's got a lot of it! You will love it when she sits down!

Pants (leg): This is quite a long trip, but many of you can make yourselves at home here.

Pants (instep): Some end up crushed under her feet, some don't... Do you feel lucky?

There's a warning though...

"WARNING! Surviving Marvia's shows doesn't guarantee you will survive in her clothes and body."

I know I made some mistakes but considering I drew these without reference, I'm happy with how these turned out!

Playing around with characters and writing stuff about them is fun. :3 (Alt text gives more context)

A flat-coloured picture on a simple background of two anthro eeveelution characters. They are twin brothers which is why they share certain features. Aedyn, the Sylveon, (on the left) has cyan rings on his shoulders like Arche the Umbreon (on the right) has. Arche has the Sylveon bow but the feeler ribbons are smaller. They're half-naked because they were drawn as if they were going to be placed on a ref sheet, but wanted to convey their personalities through their pose and facial expression. And no, they don't pass the flip test. :)
