I got a huge pack of seedling growbags, I can fit 12 to a crate, and I have roughly 50 tea seeds cracking in my wet cococoir seed jail. And the listing for 20 pawpaw seeds sent me 40, maybe because it was late in the season. Time to prepare to spread plant joy.

I don't think the Korean couple who immigrated to work at the Hyundai plant in Alabama and now own a house there have the *same* responsibility for the Trail of Tears as Andrew Jackson, but their house purchase was enabled by Andrew Jackson's policies. I don't think "not my problem" is tenable.

I was going to plant greens for the winter—spinach, chard, etc—then I hosed my shoulder. Spinach is a good one to plant when that first warm week of March hits. (I’m in north GA.)

Planting 50,000 trees sounds like restoration. In reality, it’s friction…..slowing damage, not reversing it.
That doesn’t make the work meaningless. It just means we should be honest about what success looks like.
