As we mark 30 years of NSPC, we’re returning to the mission that has guided our teaching, research, & practice from the start.

These principles continue to shape how we learn, teach, & engage with the human questions at the heart of our work.

In a busy world, being truly heard is rare.

Reflect on the last time someone really listened - what did it mean to you?

Claire Arnold-Baker (NSPC) reflects on how traumatic birth can profoundly reshape identity and meaning - reminding us that trauma is always individually lived.

When the NSNDP's non-binary MLA sought to get a question on a panel for trans healthcare, they asked the NSLibs if they could have one of their slots, the NSLibs refused, the NSPC wound up giving them one of theirs.

Thankfully federal law took effect a few years later and superseded it. But the NSLib addition to the CT law, they only did in the first place after NSNDP and NSPC _both_ presented theirs, considered a 16yo as being able to consent to it, allowing parental abuse.

I've always had to qualify my deep criticisms of MANY things in the Houston gov't with "yet somehow they are less queerphobic than the provincial Liberals have historically been"

NSLibs snuck in a backdoor to anti-conversion-therapy legislation neither the NSNDP nor NSPC asked for.

Life moves in rhythms and patterns, some visible, some subtle.

Existential practice is about noticing the flow, engaging with it mindfully, and finding presence in each moment.

🌊 Where do you feel most alive in your daily life?

✨ We’re celebrating 30 years of NSPC ✨

Since 1996, we’ve grown, evolved, and supported thousands of students, staff, and partners.

This year, we’ll be sharing reflections, stories, and celebrating the people who make NSPC what it is today.

Oh crap! The NSPC outage map is now saying 6:00 PM for the Clayton Park outage. That's over 24 hours.

Good morning, Gerry. The happy part I'm working on. A bit grumpy because I woke up in the middle of the night to ANOTHER power outage and never got back to sleep. NSPC needs to get their s**t together,
December 18, 2025 at 9:19 AM
Overnight Saturday night - power outage. Overnight Wednesday night - power outage. Overnight Thursday night - planned outage. Friday - weather that could cause ANOTHER power outage. That would be 4 in a week. Starting to get REALLY pi***d off at the #NSPC . Maintain your freakin' equipment better!

Life is full of questions we cannot fully answer.

Existential practice encourages us to sit with the unknown - to explore ambiguity rather than escape it.

💬 How do you respond when certainty feels out of reach?

Fave comment from the NSPC facebook post about this: “doesn’t the fuel tax cover this?” 😂😂😂😂
