Honestly, we haven't gotten halfway through it, and November is kicking my ass. So happy I didn't commit to something like #Novelvember this year.
I'm sure I had some laps in sanity when I agreed to give three talks and go on two cruises this month... and that was before all the MS rejections.

That's why I use pacemaker.press, it allows you to completely customise your pace! Include the days you aren't planning to write (or do less), tell it the days you want to do more, and it does all the calculations! I love it!

Day 7: The Refrigerator Monologues by Catherynne M. Valente. An interesting take on the doomed love interests in super hero comics, told by said love interests. Funny, depressing, disturbing, with a punk rock middle finger to the world edge that I loved.

Day 6: Blood Slaves by Markus Redmond. An awesome and cathartic debut novel about slavery, vampirism, and revenge. If you like your Gothic horror with a touch of Mortal Kombat, this is a must-read.

Another strong day and I've turned a chapter that was most ideas and random sentences into something with structure. And murder. Two murders, to be precise.
About the same with 2293 words! Knocked out a bunch of the early quests, too.
