This was interesting. I liked the characters a lot better than in the other books. It still has a lot of the issues I have with the others related to the the treatment of the female characters though.

Appreciate the reply and I was careful not to say whether NewSpring was a major financial contributor to the SBC (even if it was in membership). It's my understanding CP giving from Saddleback and Elevation were similar situations to that of NewSpring.

NewSpring in South Carolina was reviewed by the SBC credentials committee for its stance on women in ministry and though it was deemed "in friendly cooperation," the church decided to leave anyway.
