I very much enjoy Child Care Diaries With the Villain but the ML looks very much like That One Guy. Although, his personality and how he and the Main Character interact makes up for it. The story is surprisingly a good balance of light hearted with dark and twisted politics and mystery under it.

You just haven't gotten to it yet, unfortunately. Idk how to spoil on here so I won't be too detailed, but I warn people away from Apothecary Diaries because the ML assaults the MC in one of the most violent SA scenes I've read. Afaik none of the adaptations have reached that yet.
