I didn’t think the TL of MeiKoi was bad, but it definitely lacked polish. Looks like the same thing might be happening here.
You can tell they keep the translations very literal and that usually means an awkward read in English.

Genso Manege is here! This is the first time in ages that an otome I preordered actually arrives on the release date. Might put Meikoi aside to play this, since I finished Otojiro's route in that one and have really been looking forward to this.

Finished MeiKoi. Story was so-so, but comedy was gold. I haven't laughed at a game for a while, and it was worth it 😂

Me están gustando más los finales modernos que los meiji en meikoi. También me está gustando jugar a un otome chill y soft que no tenga momentos realmente tristes, es un pequeño soplo de tranquilidad

Normalmente mis LIs favoritos en otomes nunca son los más críos, o con aspecto aniñado, pero con meikoi es diferente. Shunsou y Kyouka son mis favoritos ever 🐈⬛🐇

Silly me. MeiKoi does have touchscreen functionality.
It’s just you have to poke a tiny rabbit icon in the lower right corner. It was so small it was just easier to use the buttons to advance text.

If you need something lighter and more fun in between a lot of darker and plot heavier stories, I highly recommend Meikoi for a lovely adventure in the Meiji era 🤍

everyone should play meikoi like. specifically for syunso and maybe fujita. not because he's my bias or anything just saying......
btw, Meiji Tokyo Renka Full Moon is on sale on Steam. Translation is spotty but if you need something silly and fun, this is a good one ❤️
