In LA they use a number of systems for this, but madmapper is likely the most accessible. It allows you to warp video around 3d structures fairly easily. Fight smart.

It'll definitely take time. Right now, spending the huge amount to put more and better LEDs on it will be tough. I do want to use MadMapper, since I want people to be able to code to music more easily. We have 50 amp service to the dome.
