Win11にしてからImageGlassを愛用してきているんだけど定期的に起動に20秒くらいかかってだいぶもどかしい。見た目がおしゃれだから変えたくないんだけど何やっても治らないんだよなぁ……

I use an image viewer on my computer called imageglass and it has a "save as" feature, to I can save the image as a different file type without opening an editor. Just have to delete the webp version after.

i removed window's image viewer and i'm using imageglass instead, windows apps are useless and and heavy and you can just use other ones!

I'm a Windows guy so I don't know how good it is but the one I know ia called Gimp. You can now probably already dual boot and start to get used to using Linux. Would be nice if Imageglass would be cross platform.

JXL is better when it comes to PNG files, 90% of the time it saves 50% without loss in quality.
You'll have to install custom JXL.DLL to get the thumbnail running on Windows...
And use a custom image reader to open them (ImageGlass on my end)

When I have to use windows I use ImageGlass as my default viewer. That said I also migrated to Linux (Mint) a year ago and have no intention of looking back. I recommend it for anyone who can, but it's not for everyone.

One of the first things I install when i reinstall my windows is a lil nifty image viewer called - ImageGlass, its basically the same as windows one, but way better.

Irfanview is my go to and I was going to say that too!
At work I couldn’t have it because of its license but IT gave me ImageGlass. It works great as well.
