A Hero Never Dies is a Hong Kong gangster film directed by Johnnie To and starring Leon Lai and Sean Lau. It had been a minute since I’d watched a bit of To and whilst this is not amongst his best efforts, it still has its share of memorable moments. I mean have you ever seen a paraplegic corpse take part in a final act gunfight before? No, me either. Until now… Like a lot of Johnnie To films this is less about plot and more about the strange camaraderie between gangsters. Lai and Lau are the lead enforcers for
