Klein's lawyers subpoenaed Reddit and Discord to get the identities of the mods for r/h3snark and a related Discord server. The mod's lawyers pushed back and said de-anonymizing them could bring them to harm. As evidence they used Klein's own words.

It’s very weird that when Ethan Klein asked her to connect him to Reddit to take down his h3snark, she just… believed his false claims and helped him (it fortunately didn’t work).
Idk if that says more about him being a chronic liar who abuses his position or her not even doing her due diligence.
