Trump is starting another 30-year war.

Nigeria has 232 million people, about 110 million Christians.
US troops would just inflame the clan wars with Boko Haram, ISWAP, and Fulani, similar to trying to occupy Afghanistan.

And we'll soon have a lot of dead American soldiers.
For no reason.
Trump says US troops could be on the ground in Nigeria and says, "they're killing record numbers of Christians in Nigeria, and they have other countries also. You know that. That part of the world. Very bad. They're killing the Christians and killing them in very large numbers. Not gonna allow that"

#Nigeria is a lawless mess and it has been for a very long time.

Christians are killed in high numbers by extremist groups such as Boko Haram, ISWAP, and radicalized Fulani militants, as part of a broader security crisis that also affects Muslims.

The US president says his threat is over killings of Christians - though experts say there is no evidence they are disproportionately targeted.

I dunno but seems weird to write an article transcribing trump’s saber rattling without bothering to give any factual context to the claims.

For as long as I can remember, there has always been someone keen to shoehorn the Fulani herder conflict into a GWOT framework so we would intervene on the side of the Christians in Nigeria.

Guess one of them got Trump's ear.

The World is such a terrible place for the poor/ lowly.

Terrorist / Fulani herdsmen kill Christians in Nigerian, they complained to Nigerian govt. and the UK, they did nothing, rather, denied the attacks, now they reached out to US for help.DJT took action.

Now you start threatening to kill them

Here's Trump pretending to be an empathetic Christian.

The violence against Christians is primarily attributed to Islamist extremist groups such as Boko Haram, ISWAP, and radicalized Fulani militias (herdsmen).

Let me introduce you to Israel's extremist group.

The below is maybe the single dumbest article written about Africa in the last few years. Also one of the most frightening in its recklessness.

And this paragraph is maybe the dumbest, with the dumbest sentence.

Boko Haram is not Islam.

They are a terrorist cult that speaks for NO ONE but themselves.

Their victims are predominantly Muslim Northerners like the Kanuri & Fulani.

Boko Haram is an absolute rejection of Islam, not an extension of it.
