All of this btw is a big factor in why I actually like Dawntrail for the fact that the WoL isn't the "main character" for most of it. Although she does of course get dragged into saving the world yet again, the rest of the MSQ up to that point genuinely was practically a holiday for her.

I was many an effort to get them done most of the ARR savage but I tapped out on King Mog. Especially after 2 hours rotting in Ramuh. I don’t have the skill or the patience. Maybe I’ll revisit with my free company when I finish MSQing Dawntrail

Guh cleared M9S with my new static on our first day together. Feels really good. We have a few things to iron out but that was really smooth. On to M10S on Sunday.

We were told that Dawntrail was about Tural and yet 75 - 80% of the main story including post patches are in the ONE AREA that isn't even supposed to be the main draw of the expansion. I like Alexandria but it took so much away from Tural.

I'm actually so pissed off by how Dawntrail ended up overall. I enjoyed the main 7.0 story despite its flaws. But while the post patch story has had good writing overall it makes me so mad that we spend the ENTIRE time in Alexandria.
