Magazines and newspapers entice you to read stuff you didn’t necessarily think you’d want to. That’s what I love. Substack is, alas, further bubblefication.

I think the inherent bubblefication of the internet means that the things "we all know" about people often are not widely known. There are still tons of people who don't know J.K. Rowling is a TERF, for instance. We have to keep repeating this stuff endlessly. Journalism can be a part of that!
