I mean I can tell when the suits have made changes and when they haven't! I have worked in the entertainment industry in a major corporation, I know what it looks like, and I also know from contemporaneous leaks etc. from when BoBF came out that it was revised bc of panic about the brand

Got a neopixel BOBF version of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber for my birthday/Christmas. Tried to customize the SD card on it last night and apparently I did it wrong and I thought I ruined the saber. I fixed it in about 2 minutes today. Grateful and I will not be customizing it anytime soon lol.

BOBF has some issues, but this episode is one of the more underrated pieces of Star Wars media imo. Unfortunately it also starts to unravel the significance of Luke’s appearance in Mando season 2 finale The Rescue.

Thinking about what Boba Fett would look like if he was first designed for the Mandalorian. He'd probably have the MS3 finless Din helmet with BoBF Boba handplates and MS1 Din Gauntlets and Shadow Warrior belt and shoulders. Funky trying to fit him into the Matyas/Trpcic aesthetic.

Good episode as a piece of Star Wars television. Very good as a piece of spectacle. It’s certainly leaps and bounds better than BoBF and Mando S3. But I refuse to be wowed by jingly keys that prove to just be empty fan service by the end of the episode.

A veces haces una escena chula de monstruo, o un homenaje a Harryhausen como en BOBF, otras es "ya está el dinosaurio genérico chupando cámara". En el mejor de los casos, se creaban animales y ecosistemas interesantes, pero que a trama no pueden aportar mucho, claro.

This is incredibly correct. BoBF either wanted to be a tight, tense movie or at least 2 seasons (Dances with Banthas/The Good, the Bad, and the Wookiee), not the in-between and "forced to be a backdoor Mando season" mess we got.
BoBF also did not exactly feel like the writers were phoning it in, what it does with lore is really interesting! it just was edited down to crap to chase ratings. but, your wider point is totally correct

First of all, an important aspect of Star Wars is about fun. BoBF delivers this in spades. Where else can you get Hutt twins, gaffi stick duels, a train heist, a rancor being ridden, a sarlacc being blown up by a seismic charge, a goon sliced in half by the Darksaber, etc?

Is this show better than Obi-Wan, and BOBF? Definitely. Ahsoka? For now, if only because the first season was only half a story. Mandalorian? Definitely not, Season 3 notwithstanding.
