For a while, academics struggled with a way to get capitalism to move #beyondGDP to include measures of human progress or well-being— #humanity. What we got was ESG, or stakeholder capitalism, which arrived late and ended up being dismissed as “woke capitalism”

Ausnahme: weshalb das BIP generell ein eher schwieriger Indikator ist, insbesondere im Kontext nachhaltiger Entwicklung.

Aivan samoin kuin EU:n BeyondGDP-aloitteessa, ratkaisu ei ole luopua ideasta, vaan siirtyä pois täydellisen mitattavuuden illuusiosta.
Mazzucaton, IMF:n ja OECD:n viesti on, että täytyy luoda rakenteet, jotka varmistavat hyötyjen leviämisen myös ilman täydellistä kvantitatiivista näyttöä.
