That's right y'all. I think I'm finally getting to a comfortable place to begin posting pages again!

If everything goes well (cross your fingers), the first update of chapter 4 SHOULD land the beginning of June!

Thank you all for your patience! I can't wait!

Book Cave has a good article on setting descriptions that I enjoyed reading.

It reminded me of some tips from Swain’s "Techniques of the Selling Writer" about managing attention. That book is well worth a read.

Book Cave has a good article on #scifi #fantasy world-building.

Portal fiction like the Narnia series backloads the world-building until after character introductions.

I start my series in a modern setting to make world-building more gradual.

There will be a small hiatus while I build a buffer for chapter 4, but once that's started I will be sure to put out a note for when public updates will happen again!

Rest assured I will still post WIPs and such in the meantime!

STAY TUNED!

Book Cave has a good blog post about villains.

I got compliments on the villain in my first book. Things will be a little less clear-cut in my WIP because there won't be a single villain. I'll have to reread this when I'm further along with book 2. #writingCommunity
