Today ConnectUs Namibia is hosting ‘What Is It Good For?’ – a discussion on collaborative governance, where you can learn how shared decision-making can solve big social problems, presented by ConnectUs Founder Alna Dall. This Weekend Vinyls Music And Arts Café presents ‘Broken Records’ this Saturday, featuring DJ Musketeer, Selector O Skool, Shafa and NamGotFunk. Entry is N$50 and doors open at 18h00. Theatre veteran Sandy Rudd is celebrating ‘Forty Years of Fabulous’ with two gala performances at the National Theatre of Namibia tomorrow at 19h00, and on Saturday, at 16h00. This event will feature Odile Gertze, Lize Ehlers, Haymich Olivier and Ernst Steynberg. Tickets are between N$150 and N$200. This Saturday there’s a ‘Catwalk For A Cause’ charity fashion show and wine tasting at the Swakopmund Hotel and Entertainment Centre Spitzkoppe Hall. Join the Community Mural Experience and help add colour to Windhoek’s central business district on Saturday at Wolfshack. Come through to learn how to get involved in public art. On Sunday, the DRC NG Church in Windhoek is hosting ‘Onder die Bome’, a night of music with the Youth Orchestras of Namibia from 18h00. Beginners will practise between 18h30 and 19h30, while intermediate and advanced dancers have the 19h30 to 20h30 slot for both days.
