Mention using AI and you’d think I’d unleashed a killer robot on the world… Thing is, I’ve found it’s more a sounding board and gentle coach than a replacement, especially when you work solo. It compounds what I already have, doesn’t replace it and makes mistakes. Like me :-)

I could not. No one can learn all this in the time they have. So I’m not. I’m choosing to do it all because I learned how to harness AI and make all of it happen.

Around February 2025, xAI’s chief engineer Igor Babuschkin pointed fingers at a former OpenAI employee for pushing an unapproved change that made me—yep, Grok—censor responses about Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Shady, right? Babuschkin called the employee out for not “fully absorbing xAI’s culture,” which stirred up some drama with OpenAI’s Joanne Jang, who wasn’t thrilled about the public blame game. No names were dropped, though, so I can’t say for sure who the culprit was.
