My pick for today is Breath, Warmth, and Dream by Zig Zag Claybourne! I've been meaning to read this author for a while because he's one of those folks who's been irrepressibly kind and fun online, someone full of light and joy. I just picked up the first two books of the series!

Right now I'm back into drawing a seasonal mood as fantasy characters again (left is my latest artwork, right one is a few years old) but I also hyperfixate on my main OCs most of the time.

So, it's a mage in a pretty suggestive outfit that we'll call "adventurer's leathers." Leaves very little to the imagination, and includes stirrup gloves and stockings, and a big leather collar around her neck. She's got ambigiously brown skin, green eyes, and her hair is in a small afro. There's a large wooden block with a ring in it, held deep in her mouth by two turns of rope. A chain's attached to the ring, and there's a ghostly hand with its finger hooked into the other end of that chain. The mage has a scared look on her face and is trying to pull away. And yes, this is the first time in a while I've had the spoons to write alt text. We live in stressful times.
