So for their sake, I'm glad simply because there was no mad rush to the vet hospital, no big decisions, just a quiet ending to a wonderful life.

Thanks Helen. Yes, I find thinks like uneven surfaces, kerbs etc distinctly are the best of times. The path from the door to the flats is on a slight slope and looked OK, but clearly wasn’t! A Heidi hug would be very welcome! Feeling very painful and shaken up at the moment.

That was my thought going to bed last night. Military enables law enforcement all the time (ref navy counter-drug ops last 30 years). But as a 20 year Navy vet, I dont recall a single death. Probably happened and I wasn't paying attention, but I would have remember 10 or more
in how many "law enforcement operations" are damn near 100 people killed?

Nothing like a midnight TMNT viewing with my baby girl. She just have us, another, good medical scare and we went to emergency vet. She's clearly better now but we don't have the answers we would like.

All of this just validates what I already knew: I was so, so lucky (and so were my cats) to be under the care of our now-retired previous vet and their staff. I miss them all.

How I have heard this explained is that if there is a bureaucratic system in place to vet the president then anyone can infiltrate that system and only allow their chosen candidates to be elected. We basically have those systems within the DNC and RNC as they are private corporations.

Ideally the owl will be sedated (this is how the one person I know who has done it did it, my sister is a zookeeper and the owl in question was having a vet procedure done)
