Under the hood I'm just using `ggtree` to draw the tree, so basically everything it can do (yulab-smu.top/treedata-boo...) could be used to modify the code. For instance there's built-in tools to collapse any clade you want into a triangle, if you have a tree with too many taxa to be readable
