I paid €28 for a private Covid booster jab in Germany a few weeks back. The pharmacist was suitably puzzled when I said the jabs are not even available privately in the UK. Never mind the price, never mind vax having to be destroyed as past use by date.

Looks like it's going to cost £45 for a COVID booster jab if you're under 75.

I’m 65 soon. No covid jab for me for another 10 years. Thanks, JCVI. (I of course will get mine privately but protection against this sometimes-ghastly disease should not be a middle-class privilege.)
