Tycho stepped through Renato's portal, entering the underwater laboratory once more. The bat didn't come through, instead closing the gate immediately, he could understand... Tiamat wasn't really pleasant to be around for some people. Tycho took a look around, Tiamat was nowhere to be seen, but he recognized the space he was transported to... it was a break room for rabbits. At least that was the intended purpose of the room. It was like any small break room, provided the basics; cabinets, a refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee machine, the works... except that if you tried to use the tap, it'd spew salt water. If you opened the cabinets, you'd see out into the ocean... sort of. It was very limited lighting to provide any idea of what you were looking at through the glass. You couldn't even open the microwave. It was just a box with a see-through window and a plate in it. As for the fridge... well- it worked! But there were basically just fresh fruits, tea, barley, emmer, wheat, dates, sesame seeds, oils, spices, onions, garlic, fish sauce, wine, and beer. Without a stove, even a portable one, most of it was basically useless. But Tycho couldn't complain. He had the ability to make himself a portable stove and a pan in his satchel. He turned his attention away from all that and looked to provided table and chairs, scratching his head... usually, if Tiamat summoned a rabbit, she'd greet them at the door to immediately hand off tasks. But this was a special case, she didn't hire him on Okashi's time, she summoned him via letter, even gave him the money to contract Renato... an idea came to him. He clapped his hands together and let out a quiet prayer directly to Tiamat... a way of letting her know he was in her domain by her request. After that, he took a seat in one of the minimalistic chairs. After half an hour of waiting, the door to the break room opened, and Tiamat passed through, dawning the same appearance she took at the Gala.

He could feel the grin behind some of Tiamat's voices, while some lamented it. "What... happened to them?" Tycho asked gently, there was a pause. Tiamat seemed to consider her words, then... finally continued: "Gods do not speak of the Second Flame because they hate to speak of the fire that left ashes of the pages of their friends and family, as do we." Tiamat answered vaguely, "I see... I won't ask then." Tiamat's lips subtly curled at that response, her eyes narrowing. "The Second Flame was a War." Tycho's eyes went wide, he wasn't expecting her to continue. "The War of the Second Flame, a War between Gods, that ended many, and left more wounded in a way they'd never heal, including ourselves." Despite the gravity of her words, they came out in that same choir like tone that captivated the tanuki. "Primordial, it is what we are, and what a handful of other gods are. In mortal language it means ancient, sometimes it means to be original. Before anything... that isnt wrong when referring to ones like us." Tiamat noted as her eyes watched Tycho carefully. "But to gods it has one additional meaning; finality." Tycho looked at her confused for a moment... then realized what she meant, her face going sickly pale. "You'd die... for good?" "The dreams, and prayers of many God's and Rabbits answered. Eternal, true death." Tiamat confirmed, Tycho's ears drooped. "I... I'm so sorry." Tiamat's smirk grew, she couldn't help it, and Tycho noticed. "Wh-why are you smiling? Is it not-" "Your evaluation has proven passable." Tiamat stated bluntly, "Wh-wait where you testing me!?" "Of course." "Was all that-?!" "No. It was true. Every bit of it." Tiamat answered as she began her stride to Tycho's side. "Our history, the war, our mortality, all of it; factual history."

He halted his pace and watched, as the animal-like said something, then began to walk away from Sidra... he watched them, then it washed over the bird. That signature sense of being in the presence of a demon!? Murabaa froze at the feeling, a Demon, at the Autumn Solstice Divine Gala? How?! He turned, watching the yellow furred beast weave with a plate and glass of wine through the crowd, and followed them, seeing who they were returning to. After what felt like a lot of navigation and dodging through gods and servants, he found the tanuki returning to the "other dragon" Sidra mentioned, whoever it was looked ready for a fight. During this party designed to celebrate the peace among gods, Murabaa clenched his fists, but reminded himself to relax, take a breath, and approached. "Lady Tiamat, heres that wine you requested, and some oysters, I also picked up some caviar topped crostini, I thought you'd like." Tycho noted as he offered the wine to the goddess, she took it sniffed, swirled it, then gingerly sipped it. "You actually managed to get a glass of the wine I requested?" Tiamat seemed to ask a bit impressed. "Eh... heh-" Tycho smiled sheepishly, "I uh- well, Bacchus had them pop the cork on an entire barrel in celebration of the recent tragedy being sorted so well, I just-" "I see." Tiamat noted before taking a small sip, then made three glowing orbs appear in her hand. Tycho's ears perked up, Murabaa recognized it too... they were prayers a lot of them, being compressed into an odd marble state. Tiamat held out her hand seeming to offer them. The tanuki accepted them, "Go buy me a Jeroboam of the wine, if they hassal you about having prayers return to me immediately." Tiamat commanded, Tycho gulped, trading the plate of hors d'oeurves and nodded heading back to where he got the glass. While Murabaa had seen enough, approaching the dragon as it created a second set of arms to hold the plate. "Good Evening, I don't believe I've ever met you before."
