I used to enjoy HO scale model trains but lost them all in a house fire. Now I'm enjoying rpg's. Maybe the fact that they both bridge imaginary worlds with something tangible: Trains running on the tracks and dice rolling on the map. Maybe I'm reaching here. #dnd #hobbies #ttrpg

I would like to find a set of physical dice in this exact color scheme. Easy to read in dim lighting, and I can imagine playing Call of Cthuhlu with it as well. I have seen the inverse with a different shade of green where the numbers were black, but I like this much better. #ttrpg #dice #dnd #CoC

Stumbled across a library copy of Praedor, a classic Finnish RPG based on a popular comic. The setting is a brutal, post-apocalyptic fantasy world, which is exactly what my life would feel like trying to learn Finnish well enough to play and understand it. #ttrpg #rpg #finland #games

I still don't have the D&D Monster Manual,(only PHB and DMG) but so far, the SRD is all I've needed since I'm only running published adventures, even when I change them up a lot. No doubt, WotC will get that money from me soon enough.

When YouTubers review a ttrpg as "my honest review of [some D&D book]," it makes me wonder what they do for other reviews? I know it's for SEO and other reasons, but it's a trend I hope dies out sooner than later.

I'm really enjoying Dragon Delves, but the first map is the worst. The grid lines in the book are almost impossible to see unless I take a photo and enlarge it. I don't need it here, but the fact that it's the very first map... The rest are fine. #RPGMaps #dnd #5e #ttrpg #DragonDelves
