#Thorne
Watched the first 2 episodes of this and it’s brilliant so far, which is unsurprising given it’s been adapted by Jack Thorne. Beautifully shot too. #LordOfTheFlies

Short space sci-fi

Series: Guardians of the Stellar Heart

Episode 5: Captain Thorne authorized the 'Odyssey V' to emit a resonant frequency, a harmonic echo of the Stellar Heart's cosmic pulse. The ship's systems hummed, its hull shimmering with an internal light that mirrored the anomaly's gl...

Jack Thorne adapts William Golding's work, exploring gratitude for living under law and rule. Castaway stories like Cast Away and The Martian create fascinating discussions. #Lite https://fefd.link/JgBxj

btw, if you want one that deals with mental illness well (trauma, depression and survivors guilt), check out letters of bernard thorne (or a similar title)

There are certainly similarities, but I suspect it’s just from shared influences.

Interestingly, Aparo is one of very few artists to ever ink Thorne. They did a Spectre story together.

Thorne wasn't all that interested in superheroes. But he didn't have a problem drawing crime, spooky settings, men in capes, bats and grotesque villains. And he clearly needed a regular gig.

It'd be a hell of a lot better than Chan and Calnan, I think. What say you?

...remainder of his career.

But suppose, when Bob Brown, Irv Novick and Neal Adams stopped drawing Batman around 1975, instead of going to Ernie Chan and John Calnan, Julie Schwartz had hired Thorne?

Speaking of Frank Thorne. After SON OF TOMAHAWK ended, he did KORAK for a while, then kicked around doing war and mystery stuff at DC, a lot of work at Atlas/Seaboard, and other stuff here and there, before getting the RED SONJA assignment in 1976 and thus setting the direction for the entire...

Bah. It's been two weeks since I thought of the idea of TOMAHAWK becoming THE WILD WILD EAST in 1968, and now I keep thinking how much fun it would have been.

Not today; there's virtually no market for it today (and 1968-era Frank Thorne isn't available). But it'd have been so much fun then.
God help me, my brain has delivered to me a plan for what to do with TOMAHAWK, if I had to take it over in 1968.

Never mind that I was seven years old. Never mind that I will never need these ideas. I have them now, in my head. I am prepared.

At the Fulton Commission meeting Wed, I questioned Comm. Thorne about her hypocrisy in demanding transparency with ballots and discussed how warming centers are just one element of the work to bring our homeless residents into case management services and getting access to the resources they need.
