The choice by #ThePeopleVsRobodebt to include such a large volume featuring Rachelle Miller bemoaning all the terrible things "that happened to me" is puzzling. She's sitting quite nicely on a $ubstantial payout and the only wounds she has to lick are outcomes of selfish, irresponsible choices.

Jobseeker's infamous policy that penalises jobseekers for not going to interviews or applying for jobs has been quietly collapsing, reports Ben Eltham.
Could this be the death of Australia's nightmarish welfare system?
Mutual obligation is one of the last great shibboleths of Australian politics. Now the entire system is under scrutiny with potentially big implications for our welfare system.

A nudge in the right direction? How we can harness behavioural economics
At worst, the Government's new "nudge" unit that puts behavioural economics into practice could backfire badly. But if used well it could underpin an entire deregulation program.

Rachel Miller is saying this as if somehow, she’s gained insight. Given that we’re still at below poverty levels of support, Compulsory Income Management is still alive and raising debts is happening across govt, nope.

It was only because of the social media campaign that the looping effect of pressure was built thru the voice of people telling their stories. Justice was never ensured. It should not be taken for granted and the work that it took should not be underestimated
