COMET #C2023A3 #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS TONIGHT is still an object easy to find despite of being already at 265 million km from us. Visible through the finder at 9th magnitude with a tail of about 6 arcmin.

COMET #C2023A3 #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS TONIGHT is still an object easy to find despite of being already at 265 million km from us. Visible through the finder at 9th magnitude with a tail of about 6 arcmin.

Same camera & lens combo - but #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS under dark rural skies on Oct 17th was much better (even despite the near full Moon). Anti tail was clearly visible.

Detalle del cometa C/2023 A3 #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS el pasado 18 de octubre. Con el Mak127 y la Canon 6D. No pude sacar detalles de la anticola (había nubes finas) y el viñeteo producido por la configuración óptica era muy notable. #astrophotography

After a rainy day, here's #comet #Tsuchinshan_ATLAS again from #Madrid. What a long tail! Easily visible naked eye even with moonlight and light pollution. And looks like I captured the antitail!

Finally! On Friday 10/18, the weather conditions looked good, so I grabbed my Canon EOS80D and tripod and headed for a spot with 360⁰ views! At 7h30pm the comet was barely visible to the naked eye... I did manage to get a few nice images out of the Canon and my Pixel 8 pro! #comet #tsuchinshan_atlas
