De som driver stambaren min i Fredrikstad og Måneproduksjoner er skikkelig glupe: når dette ikke er sitteplasser gjøres området om til platesjappe. (Og det er jeg som bestiller platene for dem. Begynte med bestillingene i går.)

Det er første gang på mange år at det blir salg av ny vinyl igjen her.

Kanskje under påvirkning av noe vin og Fernet i mørketiden? 😬😅 Eller om noen bestilte den til meg. (Moren til barna + venner av meg kjenner ham godt).

i had a lot to say today. bottom line is, if i practice every day, i just know ill make gains in speed eventually. eventually. it just feels discouraging that this material im redoing is still challenging 😔 #StenoSky
for Anki, i made a short list of some words i had trouble with. that list is: under the circumstances: TPH*URBGS in the case: TPH*EBG too much: TAOFP what should: WHA*UGS provision: PROEUGZ after that, i began my dictation practice, starting with the 80 WPM class. im about 90/250 videos through the playlist now. it still makes sense to do these videos because even tho 80 is relatively slow now compared to 100, i still struggle with multisyllabic words at this speed, unlike with, say, 60. i added some words to my Anki deck. they are: autopsy: TAEPS circumference: SUR/K-PL/TPR-PBS audible: AOBL plausible: PHRAUBL I'll be lumping in 80 and 100 now, because there's not much more to say exclusively about 80, but there was (surprisingly) French and Latin words i had to write for both speeds. these words are: caveat: KAFB/KWRAUT emptor: EFPL/T-R venditor: SREPB/TKEU/T-R or SREPB/TKEUT/-R de facto: TK/TPABG/TOE de jure: TK/SKWR-R/AE feme sole: TPEPL/SOEL feme covert: TPEPL/KUFB/-RT actio: ABG/SHAOE/OE personam: PUR/SAUPB/-FP damnum: TKAPL/TPHUPL absque: AB/SKWAOE injuria: TPH/SKWRUR/AOE/AU i added several screenshots of text to my threads, as i sometimes do to add some variety to my microblogging efforts. i recommend taking a look, since some are informative on, like, the Latin and French. i didnt do the best on any of the Q&As or tests, but thats okay! im still learning. i try to keep in mind that ppl in steno school take anywhere between 2-5 years to finally reach certifiable speeds, and that's with an instructor and syllabus and everything! so me doing this by myself outside of school is gonna take as long as it takes. i also took it upon myself to... i guess the word would be subscribe? to use a legal terminology book. idk how im gonna fit that into my daily practice, but itll be great for vocabulary development if i write to it. anyway, thats it for today! tomorrow is another day to challenge myself! thanks for reading! 🥰
