Fucked up now that every Youtube alternaltive I use (Freetube, Pipepipe, NewPipe and SmartTube) are all now running into network issues playing videos.
Unless if I turn on my VPN. I doubt this is an IP ban, the apps would've told me

Try SmartTube, Mactube etc. There are dozens of apps & wrappers that strip out the annoying stuff.

Grab a Firestick and install SmartTube or similar. Skips regular ads AND paid promotions within videos. You don’t need to watch any ads in 2026, leave that for the boomers.

È una ottima domanda, io anche l’ho utilizzato in passato smarttube però non sono sicuro di quanto sicuro sia soprattutto a livello di cifratura credenziali (non sono neanche sicuro che lo facciano).

@clauseire.bsky.social tempo fa parlammo di YouTube con un sacco di pubblicità. Ho trovato su reddit una bella discussione e alla fine sono riuscito ad installare sul Chromecast Smarttube, oltre a questo anche TizenTube. Sembrano funzionare bene. Quanto è sicuro mettere il proprio account Google? 🤣
