このアバルトの2つ前のオーナーには大変お世話になり、部品も分けてもらったりした。次のオーナーはフルレストアをやりかけて健康上の理由で挫折し、今のオーナーのものになったようである。これもまた1台の車が歴史を駆けている途中なのであるなあ。今のオーナーはこの車が1961年のSebring12時間レースを走った80号車であると推測しているようだ。奇妙なことにこの車は左側だけ８がさかさまに描かれている。逆さ福のような何かのおまじないなのだろうか
