Gaspard Simon, vice-champion in FFSA GT - GT4 France, won the SRO GT Academy this year.

Next season the prize will not be €150,000 to help with a Sprint Cup seat, but a fully funded Mercedes-AMG seat in the #GTWorldEurope Endurance Cup.

For 2026 the SRO GT Academy, which has an assessment-based process to reveal each driver's true ability, will expand across #GT2Europe powered by Pirelli. The best Silver-rated driver under 30 from an AMG, Ginetta or Maserati team can compete for the prize.

O'Young earned two Porsche Carrera Cup Asia championships, victory in the 2008 Sepang 12 Hours, the 2008 and 2021 Macau GT Cup, the 2011 and 2012 Bathurst 12 Hour, five wins in the Independent Trophy of the WTCC, and an LMGTE Am podium at Le Mans in 2012.
