Lazy-Q is all cleaned up and playing.

I’m not sure if the clear coat was always that grainy, or if it had been done by a prior owner.

This Hook has seen better days.

It’s in progress and appears mostly complete.

We just lifted the head today. The batteries were leaking, so I pulled them before they did any damage. Just the first steps toward getting another machine going.

It’s funny, most of the arcades and conventions Iv been to either have the sound so loud nobody can hear anything, or so low you can’t hear it.

It was a slow Sunday night at PHoF, and it was kind of nice.

Stern TA 100 Rectifier board.

Only TP 2 (score displays) is reading low.
The headers may need replacing and the back is all crinkled due to heat.

If this were at PHoF, the answer is always to fix it.
But, this is my personal machine.

A new one is $80usd.

Should I fix it or replace it?
A stern TA rectifier board from the outside. Fuse 5’s clip has been replaced. Otherwise it looks in reasonable condition. The back of the TA 100 board. The traces are bubbled up and some are peeling off. The solder joints don’t look great and would need re-flowed. A close up of the lower rectifier pins. These would need to be replaced due to a burn spot on one of the pins and one of the others not fitting on completely. The molex connector with a burn spot on it. This will end up being replaced.

Here's a bit on Bonnie Tiburzi who first flew for American Airlines in 1973. It took that long for a commercial airline in the US to acknowledge that women were just as good as men in the cockpit.
