1. Mothers, when in doubt… change the subject.
2. Don’t sing to another guy’s date in a McDonald’s.
3. Teenagers were still depressed even before social media.

It is actually insane that Donald Sutherland was never nominated for a competitive Oscar during his incredible career.
How on earth did he not get a nomination for #OrdinaryPeople? His performance really affected me. I can't shake it.

#OrdinaryPeople has been a touchstone in my understanding my life since I saw it on tv in the early 1980s. I’m not surprised when other people have that kind of connection to a movie, but I sure don’t expect it. #tcmparty
