I waited for months to grudgingly install iOS26 & macOS26. Liquid Glass is so much worse than I feared. They have totally ruined their OSes. I know the criminally shitty design chief who has been fucking all of us since Ive left is now leaving for Facebook. But Tim Cook still deserves all the blame.

If macOS26 focused solely on a conservative update to the liquid glass material without extensively altering corners and buttons, it might be better.

I don’t get the macos26 and IOS26 hate, it’s been great. I quite like the Liquid Glass look.
Maybe I’ve just not run into any of the pain points people are having, but all I’ve really seen is people missing flat design.

So #macOS26 ruined the interface for Apple Music.
The player at the bottom is… awful.
You know it's bad when you consider writing a Music player app to replace/use instead of the one that comes with your OS.

Well, that was not fun. For some reason today macOS26 just decided to delete all of my Shortcuts Folders and about 20 or so Shortcuts. The Shortcuts are backed up but not the folder structure and which was where. #apple #macos26 #shortcuts

少し前まで利点が分かってなかったけど、慣れると良いぞ。
ただmacOS26からLaunchpadとSpotlightが統合された漢字になってAlfredみたいになってきてるのはある。
