#MDPs
nerd tingz but i finally figured out why my videos wouldn't run as smooth as they did in my camera roll...

was it the resolution you may ask? no

was it the mdps? also no

it was the frame rate....it was the frame rate set at 60....

WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SET TO 30!!!!

THIS WHOLE TIME-

Genshin Impact Teams - "Luna 2" (Nov 2025)

I haven't gotten anyone new, but seeing the upcoming gameplay Venti buffs and the Hexenzirkel buffs, inspired me to put together a team centred around MDPS Venti.

Also replaced him with Sucrose in my Electro-Charged team.

After years in the works, it has finally been published, and we can hear Scott Sanner present his work "Bounded-Error Policy Optimization for Mixed Discrete-Continuous MDPs via Constraint Generation in Nonlinear Programming"

The next presentation comments on the efficiency of algebraic simplex algorithms for solving MDPs and is presented by Dibyangshu Mukherjee.

It's not as egregious as in the past recently, at most it's just "hits harder with extra words" and "lets you run character solo mdps" but it definitely can still be felt the difference quite starkly which doesn't seem to be the case as they seem to be sticking to AK philosophy

Our final session at CPAIOR contains a varied number of topics: learning, algorithm configuration and MDPs. As a suprise speaker, Bistra Dilkina is presenting the work "Accelerated Discovery of Set Cover Solutions via Graph Neural Networks" as the authors were unavailable.

MDPs have the same problem as all modeler-coded heuristics: they are fairly inflexible and have to be coded and especially calibrated for each model and experiment specifically. Even then, the results nevertheless raise questions whether the modeller inadvertently determined the model outcomes.

Also I think it's very funny I keep thinking of myself as a mdps main because that's what I started as - when I was already switching to tanks by next year.

It makes sense, I switched fully by Endwalker (Dec 2021) because dps queues sucked solo, but it feels insane to say 'Endwalker 4 years ago'.

HSR pity at 32, 199 tickets worth of jades gathered, 40 on refund tickets, and the pull plan is as follows for 3.7:
Hyacine e0.
Cipher S1 (Cipher is fav so she gets to have her LC now!)
Then if I've been lucky and feel like it: Cyrene e0.
Cyrene e0 would be for Evernight mdps team 👌
Hoping for Pela~

In this work, we show that we can get replicability guarantees even in function approximation settings with RL. The idea is to ensure replicability of ridge regression and uncentered covariance estimation first. Then, use these tools in common approaches that solve linear MDPs. (3/6)

nothing. the answer is nothing. if you even bring mDPS, they don't do shit-all anymore.

that's...part of why this is done.

But also, they did away with caster lockouts (wrongly imo) so you also need interrupts like every two seconds or someshit when dealing with casters so *screaming*
warcraft twitter is abuzz with midnight taking away (my classic enjoying self checking my notes) healer interrupts. excuse me? healers have been kicking? that's a healer job now?
